Birthcontrol problems/spotting/sugar pills?

alright, so im on yasmin birthcontrol and i was supposed to start taking my sugar pills on the sunday that just ped, but i wanted to skip my period.. so i went onto my next pack. well im spotting now.. i have done this before and this did not happen before. but there was a time where i skipped 2 periods in a row and i spotted all that month. im thinking i would have stopped spotting now.. its wed.. so im thinking of just stop taking my pills for 3-5 days and then start the pills iwhere left off. i dont wanna have my period for 7 days. is that alright to do.
