How lord shiva misbehaved dakshaprajapati ,the father in law?

Knowledge, which initially takes roots, in a humble form, leads to conceit. In his conceit, he gave importance to karma, i.e. the yagna, rather than the cause of the karma and the ultimate end of such karma i.e. the God Himself. God had to subdue him.
