Im thinking about becoming a commercial fisherman, but have no idea where to start.?

Does anyone have any information or links to websites that show you how to go about doing it? I was thinking about just going to a harbor and trying to find a ship, but I really have no experience with commercial fishing. I do have experience fishing, I've been fishing with my family on a small boat most of my life. Im in New Jersey as well, so I don't know if thats going to be a problem to find work in that area. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
